TOPS & DRESSES
Personally, I don’t love anything too dark or fitted when I’m prancing and sweating in the sun. I omitted pulling any cap sleeves, for the sake of sweat stains, and opted for looser pieces that are easy to style under or over additional layers if and when more are needed.
LOOSE FITTING BOTTOMS
Similar to my straying away from tight fitting festival tops, I believe dancing is much more enjoyable in a loose fitting bottom. I pulled my opinionated best of all that was included in the Aritzia round up and opted for the more practical skort over a revealing mini.
POTENTIAL SETS
Aritzia kindly sticks to a range of self explanatory colors that spread across most of the pieces within a specific brand. That being said, a lot of single tops and bottoms can easily become color coordinated sets, without fear of one piece being a slightly darker shade of blue than the other. Or am I the only one that freaks out if the color names don’t exactly match?
ACCESSORIES
Perhaps this is due to the rising western trend, or the overall existence of Stagecoach, but I’ve seen almost too many cowboy hats included in recent festival edits. No shade to the headwear itself, I did in fact grow up in Texas, but I’ve never understood the strong tie between festivals and western wear. All that to say – I only selected one cowboy hat, out of respect, from the many that were included the Aritzia edit.
